About the role

Algolia is a leader in AI Search. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join the Search team, responsible for the cloud-based scalable architecture for NeuralSearch, incorporating keyword and vector search. The role involves designing and developing search, operating distributed systems, and working with a remote team. Requires experience with distributed systems, large datasets, high traffic, and engineering best practices.

Requirements

Experience designing and operating distributed systems in production, working with large datasets and high traffic, rigor in high code quality and automated testing, excellent spoken and written English, experience at current stage ($50-200M ARR). Nice to have: Go, Kubernetes, sensitivity to Site Reliability Engineering.
