About the role
We are hiring a senior/staff software engineer to design and build core components of our next-generation knowledge retrieval system for AI. You'll build scalable platform components, optimized indexing pipelines, backend services for semantic and hybrid retrieval, and drive technical direction for reliability and security.
Requirements
Proven track record (6+ years) shipping production-grade backends for large-scale systems. Experience in semantic search, vector databases, hybrid retrieval, RAG patterns. Expert in Go, Rust, C++, Java, or Python. Familiarity with Kubernetes, cloud-native architectures, observability frameworks. Product thinking and ability to navigate ambiguity.
