Full-Stack Software Engineer, Experience

Pinecone is seeking a full-stack engineer to bring visibility, control, and trust to product experiences, including cost metrics, spend alerts, and usage dashboards. The role involves owning billing, management, and authentication interfaces, shipping end-to-end experiences across API, SDK, and web, and integrating with billing systems and vendor APIs. The engineer will work closely with product, design, and other engineering teams to build scalable solutions.

At least 2 years of software engineering experience, bias toward automation, hands-on experience with AI coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, Copilot), proven ability to design and deliver APIs, proficiency with React, experience with a major cloud provider (AWS, GCP, Azure), and strong API design intuition. Bonus: SaaS billing experience, usage-based pricing, compiled languages (Rust, Go, Java), third-party financial APIs, queueing/streaming (Kafka, Kinesis, Pub/Sub).
