About the role
The Compute Software Engineering role focuses on enabling Bare-Metal and Virtual Machine provisioning for Lambda's AI cloud. Responsibilities include developing workflows for compute instance lifecycle, system health, host and cluster validation, and improving internal platform tooling. The role involves close collaboration with engineering teams to scale productivity and delivery velocity.
Requirements
5+ years experience with Go or Python in production, 5+ years with bare metal & virtualization management, comfortable in Linux environments, ability to troubleshoot complex systems. Nice to have: GPU infrastructure, Slurm, Kubernetes, KVM, QEMU, Temporal.
