Senior Software Engineer, Compute Platform

Moonlite seeks a Senior Software Engineer to build a GPU-accelerated compute platform for AI workloads. Responsibilities include designing compute orchestration systems managing GPU clusters, bare-metal provisioning, and resource scheduling. The engineer will work on Kubernetes, SLURM, NVIDIA GPUs, and develop APIs for programmatic access to high-performance compute resources. The role also involves optimizing platform performance, implementing monitoring, and ensuring multi-tenant isolation.

Requires 5+ years software engineering experience with compute platforms or container orchestration. Strong background in Kubernetes, Go/C/C++/Python, Linux, virtualization (KVM, Xen), GPU computing, and bare-metal provisioning. Preferred experience with SLURM, HPC clusters, GPU virtualization (SR-IOV, vGPU), InfiniBand, RDMA, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and infrastructure for research institutions. Demonstrated problem-solving, communication, and autonomy.
