Senior Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, Cloud Foundations

Cloud Foundations manages the account, access, and network foundation for Lambda's AI cloud infrastructure. This role owns the IaC execution platform (Terraform, Atlantis), cloud account and IAM structure, VPC and transit network, and drives AWS cloud governance. Works closely with Security, GRC, IT, and engineering teams to turn policy into working controls and paved paths, enabling self-service for hundreds of engineers. Also participates in on-call rotation and ensures systems are reliable, 4

6+ years in cloud infrastructure engineering. Deep AWS experience: multi-account organizations, IAM, SCPs. Strong Terraform and IaC skills. Solid cloud networking fundamentals. Proficient in Go/Python for automation. Uses AI tools naturally. Builds for many, handles ambiguity, owns outcomes. Nice to have: agentic workflows, compliance controls (SOC2, ISO27001), FinOps, multi-cloud experience.
