Software Engineer, Cloud Infrastructure

DoorDash is seeking an experienced Software Engineer for its Cloud Infrastructure team to design and build foundational cloud platform components (account vending, IAM, networking, Terraform) and drive multi-cloud initiatives. The role involves partnering with product teams to unblock complex cloud use-cases, setting technical direction, mentoring engineers, and participating in on-call rotation. The position is hybrid based in New York City.

5+ years of software engineering experience in infrastructure, cloud, or platform engineering; deep hands-on experience with AWS (IAM, Organizations, VPC, S3, ECR); experience with cloud networking, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, GitOps), Go/Python, Kubernetes; ability to take ambiguous problems to well-paved solutions; proficiency in AI coding tools.
