About the role
Rivian and Volkswagen Group Technologies is a joint venture seeking a Sr. Software Engineer, Full-Stack to join the Factory Platform team. The role involves designing and developing full-stack applications for connected services, contributing to RESTful APIs, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and mentoring junior developers. The position is located in Palo Alto, CA; Irvine, CA; or Normal, IL.
Requirements
Minimum Qualifications: 7+ years of professional software development experience with full-stack focus. Proficiency in modern JavaScript frameworks (React, TypeScript), HTML, CSS, responsive design. Strong knowledge of backend languages (Golang, Node.js, Python) and RESTful APIs. Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), stream processing, message queues (Kafka, NATS, RabbitMQ). Agile methodologies.
