Senior Software Engineer role owning end-to-end quality and efficiency of Snowflake's Cortex Code coding agent. Responsibilities include taking agents from prototype to production, building eval harnesses, driving down cost/latency, debugging production failures, building data pipelines, onboarding frontier models, and partnering with product/infra. Requires measurement-first approach and systems thinking.
Requirements
Bachelor's in CS/Engineering/Statistics or related, 6+ years production software experience including AI/LLM features, fluency in Python/TypeScript/Go, measurement-first systems-thinking instinct, comfort debugging complex failures, strong communication skills. Preferred: deep experience with agentic coding tools, eval harnesses, LLM observability, data engineering background, large-scale datasets.
