Software Engineer, Core Maps

Lyft is hiring a Software Engineer for the Map Data (Core Maps) team to build systems ensuring accuracy, freshness, and coverage of map data behind every Lyft trip. The role involves owning core pieces of ingestion, conflation, and quality infrastructure, collaborating with engineering, product, data science, and AI/ML teams to improve ETA accuracy and rider/driver experience.

Requires BS/MS in Computer Engineering or related field, 3+ years software engineering experience, extensive OOP experience (GoLang/Python), backend distributed systems, database experience, strong communication skills. Experience with Airflow is a plus.
