Software Engineer, Marketplace

As a Software Engineer on the Marketplace team, you'll own core systems for search, matching, allocation, and workflow infrastructure. Build backend services for candidate-job matching and marketplace workflows. Design APIs for search, eligibility, scoring, allocation, and fulfillment. Create data models for a labor marketplace. Develop infrastructure for real-time and asynchronous decisioning. Ensure operational systems keep workflows reliable and observable.

Candidates should have a track record of building and operating reliable backend systems in production, strong judgment in system design and data modeling, comfort with high-throughput APIs and distributed systems, ability to translate product requirements into clean technical systems, and high engineering standards. Nice-to-have experience includes search/marketplace systems, ML-powered products, event-driven architecture, queues, caching, and observability.
