Minimum qualifications: 3-5+ years managing reliability for large-scale production services; expertise in Python, Go, or C/C++; strong networking, Linux/RHEL, distributed architecture; incident management and 24/7 on-call; ITIL frameworks. Preferred: public cloud (AWS, Azure, GCP), IaC (Ansible, Terraform, Helm, Temporal), chaos engineering, global routing (BGP), traffic tunneling (GRE, IPSec), L7 proxy (HAProxy), DNS, OS networking stack. Also curiosity in AI tools.
