Senior Software Engineer, Ads

Senior Software Engineer on the Ads team at Instacart, responsible for building world-class reporting solutions, improving the ads platform, and ensuring scalable data delivery. Collaborate with Product, Design, Data Science, and ML engineers to evolve the Ads suite and handle petabyte-scale data.

Bachelor's degree in CS or related, 5+ years of software engineering experience, proficiency in distributed systems, SQL, data processing tools (DBT, Airflow), web frameworks (Rails), strong communication, ownership, and collaborative mindset. Preferred: digital advertising industry experience, big data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, Kafka), distributed system design.
