AI Solutions Engineer

Chainguard is hiring an AI Solutions Engineer to identify high-leverage AI opportunities, build prototypes, and partner with teams across the company. The role involves internal consulting, building workflow automations, prompt systems, and AI-enabled tools using approved tools like Claude Code and Anthropic API. The goal is to improve revenue, efficiency, and quality while maintaining security and responsible AI practices.

Minimum 4 years building software or internal tooling. Hands-on experience with AI tools (Claude Code, Copilot, Cursor) and LLM APIs (tool calling, agents, RAG, MCP). Ability to integrate APIs across SaaS systems (Slack, Google Workspace, GitHub, Linear). Programming proficiency in Go or Python. Strong communication and responsible-use mindset. Preferred: experience with agent ecosystems, cross-functional roles, open source, and software supply chain security.
