Senior Software Engineer (Developer Platform)

Chainguard is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join the Developer Platform team, building the internal platform that powers engineering. The role involves improving CI/CD pipelines, productionizing an Agentic AI platform, consolidating build systems, and automating developer toil. The team owns the internal platform end-to-end, including CI/CD, Agentic AI (DriftlessAF), shared build infrastructure, and change validation. Key focus is scaling AI-driven development workflows.

4+ years experience building production services in cloud environments, proficiency in Go, experience with CI/CD and container orchestration, AI-forward mindset, excellent communication, self-directed. Preferred: experience scaling GitHub Actions, Argo Workflows, Buildkite, DORA metrics, large Go monorepo, supply chain security, stakeholder feedback.
