Director of Engineering, Brokerage Platform

Robinhood is seeking a Director of Engineering for Brokerage Platform to lead one of its largest engineering organizations, owning technical strategy, people leadership, and delivery execution for a high-stakes platform spanning Market Data & Symbology, Trading Platform, Clearing, and Brokerage Infrastructure. The role requires deep engineering depth, platform mindset, and leadership presence to build and retain a world-class team.

15+ years of software engineering experience with 6+ years in engineering leadership including Director or Senior Director. Deep platform engineering background at scale. Experience in financial services, trading, brokerage is a strong plus. Track record of driving platform modernization bets with real business outcomes. Comfort in high-severity always-on environment. Strong background with distributed systems, backend services at scale, Go or Python, AWS.
