Senior Infrastructure Engineer

Asana seeks a Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Software-Focused) to design and build internal platforms that power all of Asana, from product features to AI systems to offline analytics. The role involves leading end-to-end projects, improving reliability of stateful infrastructure, debugging production issues, and partnering with product teams. The tech stack includes AWS, Kubernetes, MySQL, Terraform, and more. The role is based in Warsaw with a hybrid schedule. The team collaborates globally.

Strong software engineering background with 7+ years building and operating backend systems at scale. Familiarity with distributed systems, storage technologies, AWS services, Terraform, monitoring tools like Datadog. Solid understanding of SRE principles. Clear communicator and collaborator. Curiosity about AI tools. Must be comfortable writing production code in Go, Python, Scala, TypeScript. Not just scripting.
