Senior Software Engineer, Platform Reliability

Build core platform systems (load shedding, rate limiting, circuit breakers, traffic controls) to protect Asana's infrastructure. Partner with platform teams, lead end-to-end projects, and embed reliability as a first-class design constraint. Work with AWS, Kubernetes, Istio, MySQL, Terraform, and more. Based in Warsaw with a hybrid schedule.

7+ years building and operating backend systems at scale. Strong software engineering background with production code. Familiarity with distributed systems patterns (backpressure, graceful degradation, capacity planning). Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, Azure), Terraform, monitoring tools (Datadog). Comfortable defining and working within reliability and performance targets. Clear communication and collaboration skills.
