Security Engineer, Vulnerability Management & Security Operations

LiveKit is hiring a Security Engineer to build and run vulnerability management and security operations. The role involves selecting scanning tooling, running vulnerability management end-to-end (triage, severity, remediation SLAs), building engineering-first workflows, a remediation dashboard, and automation for compliance evidence. The position is part of a small Trust team and the candidate will own the program from day one.

5+ years in security engineering, security operations, or software engineering with security focus. Hands-on experience building or running vulnerability management programs or security tooling (SCA, container, cloud, host scanning). Engineering-first approach to triage and remediation, strong scripting in Go or Python, comfort with infrastructure as code (Terraform), pragmatic risk judgment.
