About the role
LiveKit is seeking a Senior Engineer to work across core services, telephony, and observability. The role involves designing and evolving core control, data, and observability systems, implementing resilient architectures, building libraries and tooling, diagnosing critical paths, and shaping new platform capabilities. Technologies include Go, psrpc, gRPC, Raft, NATS, Kubernetes, Prometheus, OpenTelemetry, ClickHouse.
Requirements
Experience designing and delivering distributed systems in production, ownership end-to-end, comfort with consensus and coordination, thinking in terms of data flow and performance, clear communication, Go fluency, hands-on experience with pub/sub/RPC/coordination systems, exposure to real-time/low-latency infrastructure, shipped observability tooling.
