Senior Software Engineer - Cloud Efficiency

Snowflake's Cloud Efficiency team builds a unified platform for cloud cost observability and optimization. The Senior Software Engineer will design scalable systems for resource ownership, usage attribution, and cost modeling, develop AI agents for monitoring and automation, and collaborate across teams to improve operational visibility. Requires 7+ years experience with large-scale systems, cost optimization, and proficiency in Go/Python/Java.

7+ years experience designing large-scale production systems, cost optimization on private/public clouds, deep system analysis, cross-functional project delivery, proficiency in Go/Python/Java, problem-solving, communication, BS/MS in CS or related, experience building AI agents and LLMs. Nice to have: observability infrastructure (OpenTelemetry, Prometheus), cloud billing models (AWS/Azure/GCP), FinOps experience.
