About the role
Senior Software Engineer, Network role at Wealthfront's Infrastructure team. You will manage networking and server hardware in data centers and cloud, build telemetry, automate change management, ensure reliability via on-call, collaborate on hybrid cloud architecture, and travel to Bay Area and New Jersey sites. Requires expertise in Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Go/Python/Ruby, Linux, networking protocols (BGP, MLAG, VLANs, DNS), and production data center automation.
Requirements
Proficiency with Terraform, Ansible, Chef; proficiency in Go, Python, or Ruby; Linux experience; experience automating production data center environments; networking protocols (BGP, MLAG, VLANs, DNS); excellent communication; BS/MS in Engineering/CS or equivalent. Preferred: routing/switching, Palo Alto/Juniper, VPN technologies, AWS networking.
