About the role
OpenAI's Network Engineering team seeks a Network Engineer to design, operate, and improve global networks supporting offices, labs, and cloud environments. The role involves strategic platform engineering, production operations, automation, and partnering with IT, Security, and other teams. Requirements
Hands-on experience with enterprise networks (Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto, Arista), strong routing/switching fundamentals (BGP, OSPF), production troubleshooting, network observability tools, network security fundamentals, automation with Python/Go/Terraform/Ansible, enterprise wireless, cloud connectivity, clear communication.
