Health Log Analytics (HLA) is a data platform for operational logs at high volume, built for ServiceNow's large enterprise customers. The role involves shaping the roadmap, setting architecture direction, leading design reviews, and mentoring engineers. The work spans data ingestion, storage, query, and AI integration.

12+ years building and operating production distributed systems, experience with data ingestion, storage, and query, expertise in at least one of Go, Java, Scala, Rust, or Python, experience with Kafka, Pulsar, Kinesis, columnar stores, time-series databases, Elasticsearch/OpenSearch, object-storage designs, Kubernetes, cloud infrastructure, and evidence-based judgment on AI. Also requires clear communication and mentoring skills.
