Software Engineer - Testing Frameworks

Baseten seeks a Software Engineer to join the Platform team, owning the testing strategy and building frameworks for unit, integration, load, performance, and resilience testing for GPU-backed inference workloads. This role involves creating tooling, infrastructure, and standards to ensure code correctness and failure tolerance for mission-critical AI inference.

Strong proficiency in Go and/or Python, deep experience with testing frameworks (pytest, Go's testing, testify, testcontainers), integration test infrastructure for distributed systems, load/performance testing tools (k6, Locust, etc.), Kubernetes and Docker fundamentals, advanced CI/CD understanding, track record of improving testing culture, and comfort with ambiguous high-impact challenges.
