Software Engineer, Design Software (Starship)

SpaceX seeks a Software Engineer for Starship Design Software to develop software for design data, mesh processing, 3D graphics, flight simulations, and mobile apps. Full ownership of engineering, close collaboration, and integration with APIs/hardware. Requires BS in CS or equivalent plus 1+ years full stack development. Preferred: Python, C#, Go, Java, frontend, database, 3D graphics.

Basic qualifications: BS in CS, engineering, math, or scientific discipline (or 2+ years experience in lieu of degree) and 1+ years full stack development. Preferred skills: OOP (Python, C#, Go, Java), web apps, version control, CI/CD, system design, testing, profiling, build systems, package managers, stream processing, Docker/Kubernetes, frontend (Angular, React), databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server), graph databases, 3D graphics, CAD integration. Must be willing to work extended hours/weekends.
