Senior Software Engineer, Money

Senior Software Engineer on the Money Team, responsible for designing, building, and operating ledger and payments services that handle high transaction volumes, bank settlement pipelines, and reconciliation. Work involves distributed systems, data integrity, and collaboration with finance and treasury teams. The role requires strong backend engineering skills and experience with Scala or Go.

Minimum qualifications include 5+ years of backend production experience, strong distributed systems background, proficiency in Scala or Go, unit/integration testing, CI/CD, cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure), debugging complex systems, and communication skills. Preferred experience with ledger/accounting/fintech, double-entry bookkeeping, payment rails (ACH/wire/card), workflow orchestration (Temporal/Cadence), and financial services.
