Software Engineer

Stripe, a financial infrastructure platform, seeks a Software Engineer to contribute to team strategy, roadmap, and culture. The role involves scoping, designing, implementing, and deploying robust solutions, making tradeoffs between reliability, latency, and cost. Also requires innovating to improve infrastructure resiliency, reliability, efficiency, and management at scale, while upholding high engineering standards.

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field plus 2 years of software development experience. Also requires 2 years of experience in: designing/scalable infrastructure on AWS/Azure/GCP; cloud-native networking, compute, storage; Go and Ruby development; clean code for infrastructure automation; Kubernetes/containerization; orchestration strategies; and high-scale distributed systems with open-source tools.
