Software Engineer II - Builder Experience - Platform Engineering Productivity

Elastic is seeking a mid-to-senior Software Engineer for the Platform Engineering Productivity team. The role focuses on improving developer experience, ensuring high-quality releases, and building tools for CI/CD, release engineering, and ephemeral environments. The engineer will work with cloud infrastructure, CI systems, and AI-assisted tools to enhance the software development lifecycle.

Solid experience in Python, Go, Bash, Java, or Scala; deep understanding of SDLC; proficiency with Terraform, Kubernetes, Docker, GIT, CI/CD; experience in release engineering and quality strategies; use of AI-assisted tools; ability to work autonomously in a distributed team; excellent communication; high standards for design and quality; eligible for DoD Impact Level 4 environments.
