Tech Lead, Agent Framework - Observability

This role is the tech lead for the Agent Framework team, owning architecture and technical direction for Elastic's agent layer. Responsibilities include designing scalable architecture, providing technical guidance, conducting code reviews, engaging with stakeholders, collaborating across teams, and managing risks. The role focuses on the Streams program for data ingestion via Elastic Agent and Beats.

Proven experience as a technical lead or principal engineer on agent/daemon/systems-level software at scale. Deep knowledge of observability data collection (metrics, logs, traces, protocols). Solid background in Go. Experience with management/control planes (OpAMP). Track record of leading large technical initiatives. Comfortable with design docs, consensus building.
