Sr Staff Software Engineer- Access Security - Veza

The Access Security team builds the intelligence layer for the ServiceNow Veza Identity solution, helping enterprises answer who and what can access critical resources. We are looking for a seasoned Sr Staff Backend Engineer to architect, design, develop, optimize, and maintain Access Security features that use AI to improve access intelligence, risk detection, and remediation workflows. You will collaborate with other teams to build secure, scalable backend services and AI-assisted workflows.

10+ years backend development, strong proficiency in Golang and Python/Java, expertise in RESTful/GraphQL/gRPC APIs, data modeling, SQL, PostgreSQL, Neo4j, knowledge of data structures, algorithms, design patterns, leadership of cross-functional projects, Bachelor's/Master's in CS or related field, strong communication skills. Preferred: IAM domain, cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), LLM frameworks (OpenAI, Anthropic, Google), automated testing, CI/CD.
