AI Resident UK/EMEA

The AI Residency is a 6-month builder role at Ema, an AI startup building AI Employees for HR, IT, and Finance. Residents work on real production code, own delivery end-to-end, and receive mentorship. Tracks include Backend (Go/Python), AI/ML (agents, LLMs), and Systems & Infra (Kubernetes, cloud). Work spans customer deployments, platform, quality, reliability, and compliance. Top performers may convert to full-time.

Candidates must have a builder mindset and high agency, with strong engineering fundamentals in Python, Go, or similar. They need real depth in one track: Backend (services, APIs), AI/ML (PyTorch, LLMs), or Systems & Infra (Linux, containers, cloud). Honest measurement and clear communication are essential. Final-year students, recent graduates, and self-taught builders are welcome. Must have right to work in UK for 6 months. Include a link to something you've built.
