Billing Engineer

E2B is a Series A startup building Agent Cloud. The Billing Engineer will own the entire billing system: usage metering, charge calculation, invoicing, payments, data models, Stripe integration, billing automation (failed-payment recovery, proration, credits, refunds, disputes). Partner with finance on reconciliation and revenue reporting. Make architectural decisions on observability, testing, security.

5+ years billing systems experience, deep expertise in Go, strong API design (REST/RPC), solid PostgreSQL (schema design, query optimization, migrations), backend fundamentals (auth, performance, real-time data flows), experienced with charging logic, collections, billing automation, complex invoicing, SKUs, usage-based billing, third-party payment platforms, strong cross-functional communication, comfortable owning system end-to-end, able to work through ambiguity.
