Senior SWE (Search) - Billing

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to design and build the billing platform behind a novel search engine tailored for agentic AI consumption. The role involves owning systems that turn product usage into accurate revenue, supporting flexible billing models like usage-based pricing, subscriptions, prepaid balances, and enterprise contracts. The position is based in New York office, hybrid.

6+ years building production backend systems, with 3+ years in billing/metering. Experience with usage-based billing, subscription billing, prepaid credits, enterprise contracts, third-party billing platforms (Stripe, Metronome, etc.), Python, TypeScript/Node, Postgres, high-volume event pipelines, billing correctness, PLG, Auth0/Okta, SOX compliance.
