About the role
SambaNova is a leader in AI infrastructure. The Cloud Platform team owns production inferencing service. As a Principal Cloud Platform Engineer, you will specialize in AI Inferencing Service, ensuring reliability, performance, scalability. Responsibilities include shared ownership of production service, automating AI infrastructure, on-call rotation, building monitoring, performance optimization, auto-scaling, IaC, CI/CD, forecasting, SLOs.
Requirements
B.S. in CS or related field, 8+ years SRE/DevOps, experience with large-scale customer-facing service in public cloud, strong programming in Python/Go/Rust/Java, Docker/Kubernetes, monitoring tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, Datadog), IaC (Terraform), CI/CD, Linux/Unix. Preferred: hybrid cloud/on-prem, ML/AI inferencing, GPU-accelerated computing, model serving frameworks, MLOps, databases/caching.
