Tech Lead Manager - Product Engineering (Identity Security)

The Identity Security team at Abnormal is extending its behavioral approach to protect identities across cloud infrastructure and AI systems. The Tech Lead Manager will lead a small team of 6-8 engineers, writing and reviewing code daily, setting technical direction, and partnering with customers to iterate quickly towards product-market fit. This role requires deep technical involvement and the ability to navigate ambiguity.

5+ years of software engineering experience with 1+ year in tech lead or engineering management; ability to read, write, and review code at high level (Python/Go preferred); experience hiring and developing engineers; track record shipping products in fast-moving environments; Bay Area location required. Preferred: experience building enterprise/B2B security products; familiarity with ML systems; exposure to AWS, Kafka, containerized services, microservices.
