Lead Security Engineer

Hinge Health seeks a Lead Security Engineer to build security guardrails for AI-assisted development, cloud security, and IAM. The role partners with AppSec, SRE, and R&D to enforce security-by-design across AWS, CI/CD, and developer tooling. Candidates must be within commuting distance to NYC. Responsibilities include auditing cloud security, designing AI-driven security tools, and owning security strategy for AI-enabled development and cloud infrastructure.

Bachelor's degree in technical field or comparable experience. 3+ years in cybersecurity with 3+ years in security operations or IAM. 2+ years cloud security (AWS). 2+ years coding (Python, Go, TypeScript) with Terraform. Hands-on experience securing AI/ML systems including data pipelines, model deployments, API integrations.
