About the role
Cohere is hiring a Senior Product Security Engineer to lead security reviews, threat model new capabilities, perform hands-on testing, build scalable guardrails, and strengthen engineering capability. This is a hands-on engineering role focusing on securing AI-powered products.
Requirements
Strong software engineering fundamentals, proficiency in Python, Go, or TypeScript, experience leading security reviews and threat modeling, understanding of common vulnerability classes, modern application architecture (web apps, APIs, OAuth, cloud, Kubernetes, CI/CD), ability to reason about authorization and data boundaries, and clear communication. Nice-to-haves include experience with security tooling, multi-tenant SaaS, offensive security, bug bounty programs.
