Kubernetes Platform Infrastructure Engineer (Starlink)

SpaceX is seeking a Kubernetes Platform Infrastructure Engineer for Starlink to design, operate, and scale the infrastructure for the world's largest satellite constellation, serving 9M+ users. The role involves developing automation to deploy and manage on-premise Kubernetes clusters, core infrastructure like databases and monitoring, collaborating to create scalable products, and ensuring high availability through monitoring and troubleshooting across the Starlink stack.

Candidates must have a Bachelor's in CS/IT/engineering with 1+ years SRE/DevOps experience (or 3+ years without degree), 1+ years Linux, experience with Terraform/Ansible, Kubernetes, Bash/Python scripting, and development in Python/C++/Go. Preferred skills include managing Kubernetes clusters, Python frameworks, CI/CD, performance tuning, distributed databases, and strong networking. Must be willing to work extended hours and meet ITAR citizenship requirements.
