Senior Software Engineer, Cluster Orchestration

About the role
Senior Software Engineer on Cluster Orchestration team, responsible for advancing CoreWeave's orchestration platform including SUNK (Slurm on Kubernetes) and Kubernetes-native foundation for AI training and inference at scale. Own multiple services, lead design/code reviews, define SLIs/SLOs, mentor junior engineers, and drive improvements in reliability and performance across massive GPU clusters.
Requirements
Required: 3-5 years experience building distributed systems or cloud services, strong Go coding skills, production Kubernetes experience, familiarity with observability stacks (Prometheus, Grafana, OpenTelemetry), and ability to improve service reliability using metrics. Preferred: experience with orchestration technologies (Ray, Kubeflow, Kueue, etc.), distributed workloads, GPU/ML pipelines, scheduling concepts, and reliability practices.
