Staff Security Engineer, DoorDash Labs - Air

DoorDash Labs is seeking a Staff Security Engineer to own the security strategy for its drone delivery program. The role involves securing drone authentication, physical and software layers of drones and ground infrastructure, designing secure networking, reviewing design documents, and traveling to test sites. The position is based in the San Francisco Bay Area with hybrid work (once a week in office) and periodic travel.

8+ years of security engineering experience with IoT or robotic platforms, hands-on drone security experience, strong networking fundamentals (VPN/mesh), ability to work autonomously and cross-functionally, experience reviewing RFCs, willingness to travel quarterly, based in SF Bay Area, proficiency in scripting (Python, Go), cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP), Terraform, excellent communication, Bachelor's degree in relevant field or equivalent.
