Senior Software Engineer, Agentic AI

Pulumi is building Neo, an autonomous infrastructure engineering agent that understands cloud environments, plans and executes multi-step operations. We are seeking engineers to build agent orchestration, tool interfaces, web experience, and model interfaces. The role involves building planning/execution systems, tool interfaces, context systems, feedback loops, evaluation frameworks, web interface, MCP integration, and collaborating with platform teams.

Candidates should be excited about agentic AI, have built production systems using LLMs with skill design, tool use, function calling, multi-step orchestration, care about reliability and safety, be comfortable across the stack (agent orchestration, backend, frontend), write production-grade Go, with working proficiency in Python and TypeScript, bring a product mindset, communicate clearly, and work well with a distributed team.
