Cast Pilot is building AI assistants for Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure. The role involves designing and building agent flows, context retrieval, and data connections that let the AI reason about live Kubernetes infrastructure. The team is opening a public, permission-aware MCP server for customers to use CAST AI from their own AI clients. Strong software engineering fundamentals: design clean abstractions, write maintainable code, justify architecture choices. Generalist comfortable debugging distributed systems, designing auth flows, tuning agent behavior. Production experience with Go strongly preferred. Experience building large-scale SaaS platforms in production. Solid understanding of Kubernetes (autoscaling, scheduling, networking). Driven complex projects end-to-end.
