Staff+ Software Engineer, Caching

Build and operate Anthropic's caching infrastructure from the ground up, including a managed Redis fleet, client libraries, and CDC-driven cache invalidation. Work with product and research teams to optimize latency and reliability across Claude requests. This is a foundational role on a small team with outsized leverage.

Significant experience building and operating production distributed systems; deep knowledge of caching architectures; experience with Redis/Memcached; proficiency in systems programming languages or Python at scale; track record of leading large infrastructure projects; strong collaboration skills. Preferred: 10+ years experience, leadership of large projects, experience with managed caching services and CDC.
