10+ years software engineering, 3+ years as Director or senior manager leading teams building large-scale distributed systems. Deep systems background in distributed systems (replication, consensus, transactions) or database/storage internals (LSM trees, concurrency control). Hands-on in C/C++ or similar. Track record of diagnosing bottlenecks and re-architecting for performance. Preferred: PostgreSQL internals, NoSQL, open source contributions.
