Senior Java Software Engineer II - Continuous Delivery (CD)

Join Wise's Continuous Delivery team to build and operate the platform that enables engineers to deploy changes safely across hundreds of services. Work primarily in Java & Go, extending Spinnaker and building integrations. This hands-on role involves design, implementation, and operation, with scope to influence technical direction. You'll work with teams across Platform Engineering, using deployment data and feedback to guide investments.

Strong experience building production systems in Java, designing distributed services and APIs, cloud platform (AWS/GCP), containers and Kubernetes, automating operational work, owning shared infrastructure, ability to turn complex requirements into solutions, willingness to challenge and learn. Nice-to-haves include Spinnaker, SRE principles, observability tooling, cloud networking, regulated environment, capacity planning, technical documentation.
