About the role

Lead cyber resilience engineering at Xometry, focusing on ransomware defense, data loss prevention, and recovery architecture. Design and build an Isolated Recovery Environment in AWS, standardize Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, automate recovery workflows, and lead hands-on recovery drills. Partner with SRE and engineering teams to embed resilience into architecture.

Requirements

8+ years in cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure) with 3+ in AWS. Strong Terraform skills, hands-on with Secure Vault pattern, advanced scripting (Python/Go), CI/CD (Scalr, GitHub Actions). Preferred: experience leading recovery from actual cyber attack, chaos engineering, NIST SP 800-34, AWS Security Specialty.
