Principal Software Engineer, Developer Experience

The Developer Experience team owns services for build, test, delivery, and developer tooling. This principal-level role defines long-term technical direction, architects distributed systems, and leads cross-team initiatives to improve engineering velocity and software quality. Kubernetes is central. Requires deep software engineering skill, Go proficiency, and experience with large-scale production systems.

Strong software engineering fundamentals and proficiency in Go, 10+ years experience, Bachelor's in CS or related, ability to define multi-year technical strategy, deep systems design expertise, experience debugging complex production issues, experience designing developer-facing software, deep understanding of Kubernetes, ability to influence technical decisions, track record of mentoring senior engineers.
