Senior Staff+ Software Engineer, Node Infra

Anthropic's Node Infra team owns the full lifecycle of accelerator capacity, provisioning compute from cloud providers and custom datacenters. This role leads technical strategy for node lifecycle management, drives cross-team initiatives to build and scale AI clusters, and designs automation for hardware health and repair.

Deep expertise in distributed systems, cloud platforms (Kubernetes, AWS/GCP/Azure), systems languages (Rust, Go, Python), IaC (Terraform), and ML accelerators (GPUs, TPUs, Trainium). Proven track record leading complex technical initiatives and building alignment across senior stakeholders. 12+ years experience, managing large-scale compute (10K+ nodes), Kubernetes internals, low-level systems, high-performance networking, production reliability, and open-source contributions.
