Staff Site Reliability Engineer, Federal (TS/SCI)

Okta is seeking a Staff Site Reliability Engineer for the Federal SRE team within the Emerging Products Group. The role involves designing, building, and operating large-scale cloud infrastructure, leading incident response, improving observability, and automating operations. The engineer will work with Go, Python, Terraform, Kubernetes, and AWS/GCP to ensure reliability and security of production services. This position requires U.S. soil status and ability to obtain security clearance.

Strong experience operating large-scale production services in AWS/GCP, deep expertise with Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Helm), software engineering in Go/Python, building automation and platforms, operating distributed data platforms (PostgreSQL, Redis, etc.), cloud networking, observability, CI/CD, and AI-assisted engineering. Must be on U.S. soil and able to obtain security clearance. Proven leadership in complex initiatives and mentoring.
